West City Christian College is a largely a financially independent school. Annual costs are met from school fees, gifts from friends and Government subsidies.

2. Registration Fee
Upon acceptance as a student $75
3. School Fees (paid by automatic payment in 12 monthly instalments)

4. Maintenance Fee
To keep repair and maintenance costs to a minimum, a maintenance fee of $50 per term per family will be charged. However, parents may elect to give 20 hours labour instead, school working bees, etc, per year.
5. Technicraft Fee
Year 7 and 8 students attend Technicraft once a week at Te Atatu Intermediate School from 1.00pm to 3.00pm on Thursdays. The term charge (approx $40) is set at the beginning of Term 1 and includes transport to the school.
6. International Student Fees
Students with overseas status must pay West City Christian College fees in advance for the year of their enrolment and also an additional annual payment. Please refer to our Administration department for further information and current details on the fee structure for International Students.

Uniform Code
All students are required to wear the correct uniform. Failure to comply with this must be accompanied by a note from home. Any type of bubble/chewing gum is prohibited.
Hair
Boys' hair is expected to be tidy and kept off the collar. Excessive use of gel, unnaturally "coloured" hair and facial hair will not be allowed. Girls' hair is expected to be tidy and long hair tied up with hair-ties (navy, burgundy or white). Excessive use of gel or unnaturally coloured hair will not be allowed.
Jewellery/Make-Up
No jewellery may be worn other than a watch. Girls may wear one pair of plain ear studs, boys are not permitted to wear ear-rings. No students are permitted tongue studs or any form of facial piercing. Staff reserve the right to confiscate jewellery during the day. No eye-make-up, lipstick or nail polish is to be worn with school uniform.
Sun-safe
Caps/hats are compulsory during Term 1 and Term 4 for all students playing or working outside.
Sun-screen - Staff will actively promote the use of sun-screen during the summer months for all children when playing/working outside.
