An Introduction to West City Christian College

West City Christian College is a ministry of West City Christian Centre and is a registered Primary and Secondary School. The school was established in 1981 and shares facilities within the Church complex. Located on the Glendene ridge, overlooking the city the school enjoys a spacious site.

The playground consists of a large tar-sealed area, grassed playing field and adjoining reserve. A new adventure playground was added in 2002 which is a wonderful structure enjoyed by a wide range of students.

With a roll of around 100 our student/teacher ratio is low, ensuring that students get quality teacher time and attention. The Senior students work toward Year 11,12 and 13 ACE Academic Certificates which are recognised as an entry qualification for Tertiary Institutions. Senior students are also eligible for NZ Correspondence School Courses at no extra cost. Year 7 and 8 students attend Technicraft at Te Atatu Intermediate School (small charge per term).
