The Focus

ETS has a threefold focus: 

1. Biblical Knowledge

2. Practical Skills

3. Empowering of the Holy spirit

We strongly believe knowledge and practical skill are limited without the anointing of the Spirit. ETS has a strong emphasis on the Spirit of God impacting and empowering your life.
 

Who is this for ?

1. Those who wish to increase their Bible Knowledge - this is a follow on from Module 1 New Life Class
2. Those who wish to serve God
3. Those who are leaders or preparing for Leadership at West City Christian Centre
 

Term Two

Begins Thursday May 8th
Finishes Thursday July 3rd
 

Topics include:

Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Call to Mission, People Skills, How to Interpret the Bible, Fruit of the Spirit, The making of a Disciple, Motivational Gifts, How to Study the Bible, Helping People, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Spiritual Disciplines, Book of Romans

Why Equipped to serve (ETS)

I believe that every believer has a mandate and responsibility from God to serve in His Kingdom. We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works (Eph 2:9) John 15 clearly states that as we abide or fellowship with Him, we will bear much fruit.

Service is the outflow of a life yoked with Christ. Jesus came to serve and if we are to be true followers of Him then we too serve.

Many people want to serve God but feel they don't have the skills, training and knowledge. ETS has been designed to provide you with the necessary training to be effective and fruitful serving God.

I pray ETS will greatly enrich and bless your service for Jesus.

Structure:

ETS is module 2 in the WCCC training programme.
ETS is a four term course.
Lectures are on Thursday nights from 7.05 - 9.15pm
Three lectures of 40 minutes.
You can start at the beginning of any term but must complete all 4 terms with 90% attendance rate to receive your Certificate of Study.

Pre requisites:

Module 1 - New Life Classes unless you have completed an equivalent course.
 

Cost:

$70.00 per term ($95 per married couple)
